What is FutureVuls?

Create tickets for vulnerabilities detected and manage them as a team from the occurrence to the handling

FutureVuls

FutureVuls provides support for post-detection operations such as impact analysis, countermeasure planning, and deployment in the production environment.

Automatic ticket and status management of detected vulnerabilities

Information on vulnerabilities can be viewed on a single screen.

Only relevant from tens of thousands of vulnerabilities

FutureVuls

A large number of vulnerabilities are disclosed on the Internet every day

It is difficult to check each vulnerability one by one to see if it is related to the server you are managing.

Vuls only detects vulnerability information related to your systems from several vulnerability databases, which are updated on a daily basis.

Efficiently visualize vulnerabilities in your system and focus on those that need to be addressed

Highly supported as a vulnerability scanner

Vuls is available as OSS on GitHub, and has been supported by over 8,000 GitHub stars.

OSS Vuls received more than 7,000 stars

Vuls is introduced by IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan) as a tool for effective vulnerability countermeasures.

Features to assist in vulnerability management

FutureVuls Standard / FutureVuls CSIRT captures vulnerability information updated daily to support more effective operation and management.

豊富な判断材料
A wealth of decision-making resources

Not only vulnerability information such as CVSS scores, but also system status such as process information related to vulnerabilities, and external factors such as attack codes and alert information can be confirmed on FutureVuls. Efficient investigation and response decisions are possible.

Manage tickets one vulnerability at a time
Manage tickets one vulnerability at a time

Automatically open a ticket for each vulnerability detected. Track and manage the status of responses to detected vulnerabilities using the status, hide, and comment functions.

Automatic Triage
自動トリアージ

Conditions for dangerous vulnerabilities are predefined by combining scores, CVSS vectors, and JPCERT/CC alerts. Detected vulnerabilities are automatically sorted, so that more dangerous vulnerabilities can be addressed first.

Full range of notification functions
Full range of notification functions

Daily notifications of vulnerability reports detected on a daily basis. Notifications can be sent to Slack as well as email.

CSIRT plans offer more convenient features for larger environments.

Kota Kanbe

OSS Vuls author and FutureVuls product manager.

Angered by the difficulty of manually managing vulnerabilities when operating a large Linux environment, he developed Vuls, an open source vulnerability scanner that automates vulnerability management, and released it in April 2016. Since then, it has been continuously improved and evolved.

He has also contributed to the awareness of secure system operation and business efficiency through lectures at overseas and domestic conferences, security camps, and cyber colosseos, etc. In 2019, he received the Software Japan Award from the Information Processing Society of Japan for his development and awareness activities of OSS Vuls.

Kei Inoue

Security enthusiast. After working in the information systems department of a security company, an operation management company, and a medical-related company, he joined Future Corporation. He is engaged in security consulting while tracking vulnerabilities on a daily basis.

He provides advice on vulnerability response, from organizational structure to operations and response methods.

He has organized a security study group "Vulnerability Response Study Group", managed "IoTSecJP", and has been a speaker at Shiojiri Security Weekend (SSWE), OWASP Connect, Cyber Colosseum, and many other events.

Our engineers, who track vulnerability information on a daily basis, respond directly to inquiries and improve functionality while listening to customer feedback.
